Obstetric fistula is a significant cause of maternal morbidity sustained by women of all ages due to prolonged obstructed labor and majority, 78–93%, ended up in stillbirth.1 The exact prevalence of Obstetrics fistula is difficult to estimate due to different factors. Among these are due to a lack of commitment in addressing and resolving this problem and also a lack of awareness within the healthcare system. 2,3 In Ethiopia, the prevalence varies from 1.5 to 10.6 per 1000 women who ever gave birth 4,5 and less than one percent of women report that they have experienced obstetric fistula as shown by the Ethiopian Demographic and Health Survey (EDHS) of 2016. 6
